They say Pune is short of nothing. Partly true, partly not! We hope that our efforts with The Punekar can help in bringing that truism, well, true!

The Punekar is a site dedicated to the wonderful city of Pune. From schools to colleges, technology parks to pensioner gardens, the young and the vibrant to the old and the wise… the city has it all. Fondly referred to as “Oxford of the East” or “Pensioner’s Paradise”, Pune has grown from a sleepy city 15 years ago to a bustling metropolis that offers a variety of things to do, see, feel and fall in love with! Heck, it even has an IPL team now (not a very good one, but it’s there nonetheless!).

Join us as we embark on a journey to discover all that makes this city tick. From the food to the people, their festivals, their celebrations and events of their life as it unfolds.
