Doomsday: It’s here or not?

While most theories of Planet Naribu colliding with our planet seem to have gone down the drain, for there has been no object sighted that’s heading towards earth. And this has to be true for thanks to scientific progress and NASA and other space agencies, we
have more eyes patrolling the skies than policemen patrolling the streets of Delhi. So the Punekar tries to understand what it’s really all about.
Mayan Long Count Calendar
A date is written out in 5 numbers separated by digits such as 13.0.0.0.0. The right most kin counts days, the kin counts up to 19 and flips back to 0. So 13.0.0.0.19 would become 13.0.0.1.0. The uinal has 20 days so it goes all the way up to 13.0.0.2.0 and when this reached 19 a tun completes, which is one year and coming up to 360 days. 20 tuns make one katun that is 20 blocks of 360 days being 7200 days and 20 ka’tun make on baktun which is 1,44,000 days or 400 years. Today the calendar completes one whole baktun and so today is 13.0.0.0.0 and tomorrow it shall be 13.0.0.0.1.
So it’s just a completion of one Calendar that is being related to doomsday and here are some who were mighty deceived by it.

Thanks to rumours, a story of alien spaceships emerging from the peak to transport nearby humans to safety has been making rounds. And so many policemen are deployed near the mountains to stop people from entering the caves. The centre of the rebel base where Luke Skywalker took off to destroy the Death Star is also an 8 th century calendar of the double headed serpent. Star Wars fans and Doomsday believers are thronging the temple. They believe that the force is so strong at that place that it will save them from the apocalypse. They say there will be realignment and the Milky Way will be seen at 14 degrees aligning itself with the earth and the sun. This will lead to gravitational changes and interruption to magnetic waves some say. It is said the structure was built in perfect position to match this alignment making it invulnerable to the storms and fires that will break out anytime today.
