Karaoke World Championships

The sole meaning of the Karaoke World Championships is to provide the World’s best Karaoke Entertainment year after year with the World Champion Title in a Men’s and Women’s series. KWC is the opportunity for aspiring singers to show their amazing talent to the world and give the crowd an unforgettable experience. This year the finals will be conducted at Finland from 28th November to 3rd December 2012. Top two Indian Karaoke Champions (1 Male & 1 Female) will win a return trip to Finland, including flight, airport transfers and accommodation to compete for the World Finals against singers from around the world to win the title of Karaoke World Champion 2012. Just head on over to Arc Asia for the Pune Trials which will be held over 4 Sundays. There will be a winner chosen from each round to go to the Pune Regional finals. Session on ‘Life Skills’

Seminar on ‘Opportunities & Challenges in Bio-Energy in Maharashtra’(Solutions for Energy Security, Climate Change Mitigation and Sustainability) by Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries & Agriculture

MCCIA Biotechnology Committee would be organizing a first-of-its-kind, Seminar on ‘Opportunities & Challenges in Bio-Energy in Maharashtra’. With the rise in energy costs and global environmental and ecological concerns, bio-based renewable energy sources are becoming vital for an energy demanding country like India. This seminar will help in understanding the different views of stakeholders in endorsing different technologies for the generation of energy from biomass products like forest and residue waste, etc.

Katraj to Sinhagad (K2S)  – The Inter-Collegain Night Adventure Race

The National Education Foundation is announcing the tenth edition of Katraj to Sinhagad- The Monsoon Night Adventure Race. The race includes trekking in the scenic Sahyadri Mountains at night. The race starts at Katraj Old Tunnel Top and ends at Sinhagad.

There are four categories:
Category A- Intercollegiate Mix
Category B: Intercollegiate All Girls
Category C: Collegians All Girls
Category D: Collegians Mix

Each team shall consist of three participants:

•    Mix teams shall have one member of the opposite sex
•    An all girls team

The teams will be tested in endurance, physical fitness, team spirit and decision making.

Puberun- A Festival on North East India
