It’s all about mushrooms at Alto Vino

For mushroom lovers and foodies, this monsoon Alto Vino, Pune Marriott Hotel and Convention Centre is the place to be, as it brings to you the ‘Tutto Funghi’ festival. Enjoy the mushroom festival with a special menu created by our very own Chef Christian Huber consisting of a wide range of mushrooms like Porcinni, Portobello, Morels, Oyster, Truffle and more from Italy.

The festival will see chefs at the property prepare an array of mushroom dishes in its various forms and flavors, from the tagliatelle with mushroom to the risotto or the simple plain sauté with polenta on the side.The menu will include mushroom based antipasti, pastas, soups, pizzas and specially crafted regional delicacies from northern regions of Italy.

So come relish over the delectable and scrumptious offerings as you dine at Alto Vino!

ANODYNE BAND is performing LIVE at INORBIT MALL

The band will be playing Progressive Metal/Progressive Rock

Band style of music can best be described as Progressive music, only base is around Indian scales and an Indian sound, although the lyrics are in English. The main focus is sound around melody and trying to create the best harmony between heavy, soft and classical.

The 5 member band has Amitoj Singh Chandiok – Piano & Keys, Harish Lanka – Bass, Kaushik Sethunath – Guitar, Prannay Sastry – Vocal & Guitar, Sapekshya Varshney – Drums.

Abhang Rang Lavani Sang

City-based Atul Theatres is all set to present a unique fusion of devotional abhangs and lavani love songs. For the first time in the history of folk art, a team from city-based Atul Theatres, which turns 25 in June, will present a combination of Lavani and Abhang. Called ‘Abhang Rang Lavani Sang’, the programme will tie together the art forms into one musical rendition. The programme will begin with a Ganesh Vandana, sung both in the abhang and lavani style. This will be followed by ‘Raas Leela’, which is called ‘Gauran’.

International Dance Festival

International Dance Festival. The event will provide dance enthusiasts a platform to interact and learn from trained and reputed artists from India and abroad across various genres like Salsa, Zouk, Bachata, Mambo, Pachanga, Modern Contemporary, Hip-hop, B-Boying, Latin Ballroom, Bollywood, Zumba, Capoeira, Belly Dancing, Jazz, Funk and many more. The event features a grand venue, high-energy dance workshops, riveting performances, glittering party nights and competitive dance championships with big prize money! Renowned dancing stars from various countries and cities will come down and share their expertise and passion for dance with all.

The motive is to organize a grand dance event for those of you who are hungry for dancing. Be it kids or adults, beginners or professional, anyone and everyone will be to be able to interact and learn from the creme-de-la-creme of the current dance arena. Flea Works

The second edition of Flea Works highlighted Pune’s independent artists.

A multi-hued flag rope, a Spanish number playing in the background, and a small group of people going through a diverse mix of goodies that were on display. This weekend’s flea market, called Flea Works, was an interesting space. Set up at the recently-opened boulangerie, The Flour Works at Kalyani Nagar, the two-day flea market showcased the works of 12 artists from the city. Each entry was carefully selected by Ketan and Rishika Dossa, who started their company Masala Dossa a month ago.

For the participating artists, the market was a good opportunity to connect to customers. For enterpreneur Shah, who is trying to connect.

LA TOMATINA- Jelly Ball Festival

After getting too many enquiries and requests now we have finally decided to organize the most awaited party of the year. LA TOMATINA- Jelly Ball Festival (Season 2) This year we are planning to do it in different way with lots of new surprises. We have arranged the tomato fight along with a rain dance to make it hip.” So there will be special pools with seating inside them so that people can park themselves in the pool and sip their drinks.

Jazz Performance

Classical vocalist Nirali Kartik will present her unique blend of traditional music and jazz at a performance in the city. Nirali Kartik and her band will be performing at the OSHO International Meditation Resort, Koregaon Park.

Dharavi Rocks

On June 10, Dharavi Rocks will walk into Pune. The group consisting of a bunch of young adults and children from Dharavi are known for creating music out of waste. Living and working in Dharavi the group collaborates with music bands across the nation to produce new tracks. In Pune, they will present a show with drumming group Taal Inc at Fab India, near Jehangir Hospital. Organised by eCoexist, this show is a part of the event Beauty of Recylcing be observed on the ocassion of World Environment Day.

Pune invitational supercross

The Inaugural Pune Invitational Supercross to be held under lights at one of the most exiting venues in Pune at Koregaon park . 30 top riders from India on both local and foreign bikes will ride for 7 teams in 4 different categories and compete for the overall championship.
