Dakshinayan Music Festival
Violinists Ganesh and Kumaresh Rajagopalan bring their repertoire of Carnatic music to the Dakshinayan music festival to be held in the city.
For over 40 years, brothers Ganesh and Kumaresh Rajagopalan have been on a musical journey together. The violin is their area of expertise. They are all set to present their mastery over the instrument in the city at the fifth Dakshinayan Carnatic music festival, for which they have teamed up with Padma Bhushan T V Sankaranarayanan, a Carnatic vocalist known for his vibrant music which is an inspiration of the style of his late uncle and guru, Madurai Mani Iyer.

‘Rhythmic Life’- Painting Exhibition
Art2Day Gallery is celebrating ‘International Woman’s Day’ & colorful festival of Holi by having a unique exhibition titled ‘Rhythmic Life’ by well-known painter Ms.Anuradha Thakur.
Anuradha a well-known painter based in Ahemdnagar, will be showcasing her works after a long interval in Pune, she will exhibiting recent works from 3 different series. Her works are creative & in indian decorative style, colourful vibrant compositions depict Indian tribal & folk festivities. Anuradha has travelled to various places in India like Gujarat, Assam, Madhya Pradesh etc. to study folk culture and which have helped her to brilliantly capture it’s rhythm & spirit on to the canvases presented.

Painting Exhibition By Subhash Despande
The beautiful scenery of Kashmir, Canals of Venice and other picturesque places across the world have inspired artist Subhash Despande’s artworks. At his ongoing exhibition at Darpan Art Gallery, Deshpande will be donating the funds collected from the sale of his artworks to help charities that aid children affected with AIDS, blood cancer as well as senior citizens living in old age homes. The exhibition is divided into four categories – Extracts, Venice, Kashmir and re-worked paintings from his previous works.

Paintings by Artist Shyamoli Varma
Shyamoli Varma is exhibiting her artworks at Malaka Spice. Inspired by nature, the paintings are rendered in pointillism style. The former supermodel and Lakme’s first face is a self-taught artist.
