Norbar Torque Tools Ltd (U.K.) was founded in year 1942. It was the first company in Britain to commercially manufacture a Torque Wrench. Today, Norbar Torque Tools is one of the largest and most modern plants in the world devoted exclusively to the design, development and production of torque tightening and measuring equipments. Norbar’s product range includes Torque Wrenches, Torque multipliers (both hand and pneumatic), torque measuring and calibration equipment. Norbar’s UK facility is the head office for the group and it is also the primary manufacturing site and location of the UKAS accredited torque calibration laboratory.
Norbar has a U.K. manufacturing base and a turnover of Rs. 400 crores. It has operating companies in seven countries, and a global network of distributors. For more than 30 years, Norbar has a presence in India through a distributor network. One of the main objectives to setup an office in India is to provide quality products along with excellent technical support. The opening of India office is aligned with the company’s strategy of expanding its operations in India by widening its distributor network in the country.
