Vengsarkar cricket academy selection trials on April 17

Indian Express: The PCMC’s Varroc-Dilip Vengsarkar Cricket Academy will conduct coaching selection trials for the under-12, under-14, under-16 and under-19 age group (boys) at the Academy¿s Ground, Thergaon, from 7 am-11 am on April 17.

Those representing their school or college cricket teams would be given preference, said a press release. Boys born between 1/9/1992 and 1/9/2000 will be considered.

The candidates should carry their birth certificates and be in cricket uniform (white shirt, trousers and cricket shoes), said former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar. Those selected will be given coaching, uniforms and cricket kit from the academy free of cost, he said.
