Indian Express: City-based youngsters Gourab Mitra and Gurunath Hadadare have launched a website that will give information about the sub-areas of Hadapsar. Various details such as Google Maps, Emergency Numbers such as police, ambulance, blood banks along with tourist places located around Hadapsar, details about colleges, schools and others would be included in the website.
“Some of the additional features one can view are links where one see their Voter Id card status, Pan Card and Driving License status and exam results. It will have PMPML bus time-table and railway timetable. It will also give a helpline number where you can find solution to citizens’ problems related to Hadapsar,” said Mitra.
“We basically want to spread awareness about Hadapsar through this website. Today, maximum service providers have made net access easy. With 3G available in the market, the use of Internet has increased a lot. Also, mobile phone companies have increased the manufacturing of GPRS- enabled handset, as the internet craze has increased a lot in the public. We plan to reach to them through these services,” said Mitra, a freelance web designer.
