Future Kids exhibition to begin tomorrowAround the city — By The Desk on March 4, 2011 at 10:52 AM
Times of India: Over 20 schools in Pune will participate in the Future Kids exhibition organised by The Times of India on March 5 and 6 from 10 am to 7 pm. This pre-school exhibition, to be held at Hotel Pride, Shivajinagar, is a beneficial concept to bring together parents and various pre-schools to understand what is best for the child.
The exhibition has been conceived as a platform to meet the growing demand for quality education in the face of an absence of authentic information about school education. It is a platform for direct interaction with pre-school representatives to facilitate quick admission decisions, minimise delays and travel worries.
Various activities for the children have also been planned during the two days. There will be a drawing contest on March 5 and 6 between 11 am and 12.30 pm and 3 pm to 4.30 pm. Book reading and quiz will be held on March 5 from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm. Arts and creative workshops for parents and children will be organised on March 6 from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm, and arts and craft session between 1.30 pm and 2. 30 pm on March 5.
Learning style scale for children between 8 to 11 years and multiple intelligence assessment for children between 12 to 15 years to help identify the child’s potential and talent has been planned on both the days between 5.00 pm and 6.30 pm, and a brain training and free cognitive skills test is also planned on both days from 6.30 pm to 7.00 pm.
