The Bombay store has been well recognised for over 100 years, with its first outlet being launched in Bombay.
As you walk towards the store, one can’t really miss the display window that constantly keeps changing as per the wares and the seasonal demands. Items made from recycled paper, gemstones, jute, raw silk, and ceramics are the highlights of this store.
Spread over two floors, the structure is well divided in sections of apparels, gift items, home décor and accessories. There are designer items like ethnic shirts, tunics and salwar kameez for women. Their vegetable dyed cotton T-shirts, skirts, trousers and dress are well appreciated amongst the artsy kinds. They also have a mix and match section to create your own designer outfit. Do check out their pashmina stoles made out of pure silk, one of the most popular products at the store.
To accentuate the clothing, don’t forget to visit their jewellery section. The exotic junk jewellery or even the silver designs are apt to be worn with their collection of Indo-western threads. That’s not all, to complete the entire look; the store also houses unique trendy bags. Be it stylish leather totes or the handbags with printed digital photos of emperors and queens, these bags are just uber cool and can be worn with anything and almost everything!
They have a whole variety of gift items perfect for any occasion. Be it showpieces, idols, jewellery boxes or even exclusive vases, you would be delighted to see a variety in these items. The eco friendly items made from recycled paper like the diary, photo frames, waste bins, and envelopes are great picks in their stationery section.
The store offers range of personal care products tagged with “not tested on animals.” All of these products are natural and eco friendly. There are various aromatherapy and acupressure products to choose from. Apart from these you shall also find herbs, spices and green tea in different flavours.
On the second level is their section of home furnishings and excellent home decor with Indian influences. There is a wide range of rugs, carpets, bed sheets, cushion covers and bathroom linens. For typical Indian designs, you can go for sheets made out of brocade and silk. You will also find collection of lampshades with some of them made out of recycled paper.
Be it coffee mugs, jars, napkin rings or even trays, you will find them in funky designs and bright colours. If a candle light dinner is on your mind, do pick up their artistic candle stands and scented candles that will elevate your moods and senses. The artistic candle stands come in iron, glass and ceramic.
