Volkswagen launches its first dealership in Pune

Indian Express: Volkswagen has inaugurated its first dealership, Volkswagen Pune, as its authorised dealer in the city.

Volkswagen Pune will be retailing all Volkswagen passenger car models currently available in the country in the Pune region.

The announcement comes at a time when Volkswagen is witnessing an upsurge in demand for all its models across the country, said a company release issued here recently.

Volkswagen Pune has a capacity to display 10 cars in its showroom and a 30 bay workshop including state of art accidental repair, body paint workshop.

At the inauguration, Joerg Mueller, Volkswagen Group representative India, president and managing director, Volkswagen India Private Limited said, “Today, we will write the next chapter of the success story of Volkswagen India, the inauguration of the first Volkswagen dealership here in Pune.

Distribution is a fundamental aspect of the sales precisely: it is the dealerships even more precisely; it is the families which operate the dealership, he added.
