Enjoy the fascinating ‘Flavors of Asia’ at The Westin Hotel. The hotel is presenting a beautiful assortment of Asian cuisines all under one roof. A delight for very food fanatic!  And if the venue is as gorgeous as the Westin Hotel then the sensory pleasures are definitely burgeoned.

Every Wednesday the Seasonal Taste restaurant in the hotel is a host to some exotic lip-smacking platters from Thailand, China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

As you step in the restaurant you are sure to be taken by surprise as you look at the well done counters spread across in the huge hall. The décor is soothing and adds an immense amount of charm to the dining experience.

The chefs at the Seasonal Taste have brought together an exotic blend of Asian cuisines with immense amount of research. They have food ranging from the road side specialties to food courts, five star restaurants; home cooked food and have even gone to the extent of digging out secret recipes of many places.

There are 3 live counters serving you an array of culinary delights. You can begin your treat by trying some hot and crispy Tempuras; a delicacy of your desired servings mixed in corn and plain four and deep fried. If you’re a sea food lover, the prawns’ tempura is a sure delight but for veggies there are enough options too.

Next, move to the salad counter to grab some of their mouth watering salads. Try your culinary skills by preparing your own salad by tossing your favorite ingredients and condiments. A mixture bowl is placed at the counter that lets you pick from cooked fish, octopus, chicken, mushrooms and other delectable veggies. The stewards are always ready to help you with the servings. On the same counter you would get to indulge in some yummy sushi prepared either with veggies or meat. While on the other side you will also find the Korean Kimchi bar perfect for a spicy treat.

The street Noodle Soup counter serves some hot and luscious Vietnamese soups that are mostly considered as a complete meal. Treat yourself to the array of soups served here that are thick and stomach filling. As you move further you can choose to dig in some chicken cooked in lemon sauce, the Singapore fish head curry or the Malaysian Prawns cooked in butter.

While you’re here, don’t forget to try the finger licking good dim sums, duck cooked in the exotic style, sweet and sour pork, and dal tadka and paneer in the Indian delicacies.

After the indulging in such a heavy meal, do not miss out the Ice cream counter where you choose your own condiments to top it. They call it the Tapenyaki ice cream. Tapen stands for iron and yaki for grill. Here they have changed the concept and used a marble stone to prepare a relishing ice cream of your very own choice. The counter also has a space for some fresh fruits for your nutritious intake. And if you have an inclination towards cheese then you can have it too.

For those who would like to satisfy their sweet teeth further you would be more than glad to know that the counter stalls offer over 13 desserts adopted across Asia and mix n matched to suit your taste buds. Japanese Rara Cheese cake sprinkled with green tea, soy milk juice jellies, green tea pound cake, baked coconut cream caramel, chocolate delights and several other desserts are served here.

Seasonal Taste at the Westin Hotel offers a grand meal to satisfy every palate plus the ambience and service is something else. In terms of food, the taste is truly authentic as the ingredients are imported from respective countries to ensure to retain the original taste. The buffet comes at a reasonable cost i.e. Rs 800 plus taxes. Certainly a good deal considering the range of delicacies served.
