“Clean city-green city” – a cleanliness drive
News — By The Desk on August 18, 2008 at 12:01 PMExpressindia.com, Pune: “Clean city — green city,” a cleanliness drive was launched recently with an aim to give Pune “freedom from garbage.” The initiative was launched by Kumar Builders in association with the Pune Municipal Corporation.
In addition to freeing the city of garbage, the initiative was also aimed at starting a green revolution or HaritKranti in the city by planting saplings at spots where garbage has been cleared, stated a press note.
